AI guidance and veterinary care
Vouga chat is powered by artificial intelligence. By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you acknowledge that AI chat does not provide professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, treatment or emergency care. AI responses can be incomplete or wrong, including when a photo is provided.
A veterinarian who can examine your pet is the right person to make clinical decisions. Do not delay veterinary care or change medicines based on chat. If your pet may be in immediate danger, contact an emergency veterinary service now.
Your choices and shared information
AI processing requires its own explicit consent. Accepting these terms does not give consent to process every record or photo. Review what you send. Pack records are private to authorized members; community posts, comments and answers you explicitly choose to publish can be seen by other community members. Only share information you have permission to share.
Account deletion and recovery
Delete account makes your account inactive and signs out your Vouga sessions. It is recoverable soft deletion, not permanent erasure. Your retained account data and pack memberships remain stored; other authorized pack members keep their access. Sign in with the same Google account and explicitly choose Restore account to recover eligible retained data.
Recovery does not reinstate independently removed access, restore expired or purged items, undo moderation, or restore archived pets automatically. This flow has no automatic account purge or recovery deadline. Signing out of Vouga does not sign you out of Google.
Using your account
Use your own authorized Google account and keep access secure. Submit information you are entitled to provide. Do not impersonate others, harass members, distribute unlawful content or attempt to access records or conversations without permission. Vouga may restrict access to protect the service and its members.
Your content and permission to operate the service
You retain your rights in the content you submit. By submitting it to Vouga, you allow Vouga Labs Inc. and its service providers to host, store, copy and process that content as needed to provide the features you use, including saved history, authorized shared care and community publication you choose.
This includes retaining inputs and earlier record versions for service operation, correction history, security, abuse review and applicable legal obligations, as explained in the Privacy information. It does not transfer ownership of your content or grant unrestricted rights to publish private records, sell them or train future models on them.
Shared care and public contributions
Check the pets, recipient and role before granting care access. An owner can manage access, while the service protects the last remaining owner. Social friendships and following do not grant private pet-care access. Community contributions are visible to other eligible signed-in members; do not post private clinical or personal details unintentionally.
Availability and cost
Vouga is currently free to use. Features can be limited or temporarily unavailable. No purchase or personalized advertising service is currently provided. Any future paid feature or materially different information use will be described separately before it applies.
Account closure and retained records
Use Profile → Your account and data to request an export or review of account closure. A recorded request is not immediate account closure or permanent erasure. Shared records, correction history, security needs and applicable legal obligations need review; the request’s status will appear in your account.
These terms do not waive privacy or consumer rights that apply to you. Vouga does not promise a fixed retention or deletion deadline that the service cannot support.
Acceptance
Vouga records the version and date when you accept these terms. Your AI-processing and public-sharing choices remain separate.
